TV SHOW CONVENTION QUESTION-SUPPOSE TO STAY FOR ENTIRE WEEKEND?

I have never attend a convention but I have gotten the impression that one is suppose to stay for the entire weekend for all the events. I have an eye on OUAT's one in Toronto in May and I want to know.

If you can stay the whole weekend that's great. But most conventions have events each day and you can have a very enjoyable day by looking at the schedule and seeing which events you are most interested in.

It also seems to be the craziest stuff happens Saturday night with special invitation only events with the stars.
