I am not a fan of Hook and Charming being in scenes together. Though, i think their friendship is overblown in the fandom. Meaning, i don't think they are actually friends. This episode with a focus on Charming with a side of Hook and no Snow does not sound good to me.
That is what i think. I think that King George hired Hook to kill Charming's father to keep the father away from James. Like maybe Charming's father saw James somewhere and wanted to get him back, so George had him killed through Hook.
They might be hinting at Hook but it'll end up different. Robin shooting an arrow is just because of him being untrustworthy in this new world. Emma asking what Hook is hiding from her will likely lead to an engagement ring being pulled out. David might be joking around if Hook proposes, and then he laughs and they hug. Or else he might have the wrong idea.
Robin was shooting an arrow at the Sheriff of Nottingham because he is Robin's nemesis.
I think the 'what are you hiding' line also has to do with a proposal, sadly. Charming finds out Hook killed his father and later in the episode they talk about proposing. That sounds like something Ouat would do.
I really like it. The hallucination sequence is very well done. The music is chilling. The dynamic between Hook and Charming seems realistic under the circumstances forcing the latter to buckle under.
Who is directing this episode? The script seems as usual, but I like the cinematography and film direction, like the opening shots in here and in the other sneak peek.
I'm happy Snow and David will have time to shine. Gin, however, might not return for this show if it makes it to season seven, as she is probably going for future movie roles after Zootopia (which took the Oscar).

I'll take Hook and Charming over Hook and Emma's cringey, boring romance any day. At least these guys' begrudging respect feels more natural than this forced as hell Captain Swan nonsense.
I definitely agree with that. I am not a fan of Emma and Hook being in scenes either, but after that is Charming and Hook. Though, as i said, i think their relationship has become overblown by the fandom. I don't think it really exists honestly. Or what it consists of is like five scenes of little substance. Which Emma and Hook has little substance either, they pretty much just find each other attractive and have nothing in common.

I totally agree. People responded well to Hook because of the roguish, attractive nature they gave him. If they made him, say, what he looked like in the Wish World, no one would ship them because their personalities or dynamic is not the reason they are shipped together.

If Hook and David are teaming up, it's likely that we're going to see something that happened between them in the Enchanted Forest in the flashbacks.
Do you guys think Hook might have killed Charming's father?

Now, it just seems like Charming is hallucinating from lack of sleep and this is just a bunch of filler that has no point.

Right, it was interesting to see Emma remark on Hook's appearance. I know it was done for laughs, but still.
