"Wicked Always Wins." sung by Rebecca Mader. She also clearly had the best voice. The title itself, which is also the chorus reminded me of the stage play Wicked and had natural alliteration with the W's. Wicked alWays Wins. The melody is super catchy and would hold up in a big budget theatrical feature film. It would have blended perfectly in the stage play Wicked IMO.
Lana Parrilla, although her vocal range is so limited she basically spoke-sang, gets performance chops for dancing. Also liked Hook's number, "Revenge" interspersed with dialogue from Snow and Charming.
The finale song, with everyone joining in was intended as a showstopper but for me, the melody fell flat and I believe Parrilla's voice was dubbed as her octave range suddenly became higher and didn't sound anything like her solo song.
All in all, very enjoyable. They were all having fun.

Oh nooo... I just can´t... Every song worked for me - because they fitted their characters perfectly. I listened to all of them a dozen times now.
The final song worked for me, because it was so much fun watching the whole cast having fun singing along - and that ending with the clock tower sounds and the curse was just perfect :)
The episode was all I hoped for and I bought the soundtrack instantly after watching.

They did fit the characters. I cut them slack because they are all not trained in stage singing. Certainly all were pre-recorded in a booth and lip-synched, which is standard m.o. Lana's line was dubbed because it was in a key that had to go with the entire cast and non-cast performers and her range couldn't match it. . It's okay to do that. I just noticed it. When I judge music, based on my own background, there are many factors. All in all I was pleased. It's just that "Wicked Always Wins" stood out to me as superior in regards to song structure and melody.

Rebecca Mader's song was undoubtedly the best! Best voice, music, lyrics, scenography, hell, the the whole performance was amazing! Colin did a nice job too but I might be a bit biased as I think everything he does is golden

And here's the youtube: https://search.aol.com/aol/video?q=youtube+wicked+always+wins+once+upon+a+time&s_it=video-ans&sfVid=true&videoId=CFD2AE4CBF59C4927643CFD2AE4CBF59C4927643&v_t=webmail-searchbox
The song has everything. The chorus literally soars with the verse "I'll fly into tomorrow ..." The lyrics are hopeful, upbeat though dealing with the rivalry between two sisters. The producers clearly gave the best song to the cast member with best voice and she nailed it! Then it soars even higher on its broomstick, swelling to new heights in the final chorus verse. If this song and performance were in a hit Broadway play or movie, I not only could see it nominated, I could imagine it winning. It's that catchy good.

I'm surprised Rebecca hasn't sang more in other projects. She's really got a beautiful voice. You could tell she owned Lana in the duet. I liked the finale. That should be the finale for the show, but I hope this final battle isn't like the finale of LOST.

Funny thing is, I have always hated Zelena...right up until the previous episode when she tried to help with the Black Fairy (omg- soo hate her!!) and Regina was yelling at/ chastising Zelena - right then was when I felt bad and so sorry for Zelena and started to like her. So yeah, now that I am liking her, she probably will die
No matter what happens-don't give up until the end.

It is the end for me. I don't see how it can go on, even if it did, they would have to revise the show a lot anyway, with some major cast changes.

It was probably Rebecca. The last song was interesting as they put in two key changes, and they had a "Na Na" verse, maybe to cover up the auto tuned key changes or just to confuse the ear.

"Wicked Always Wins" has inspired tons of fan covers on youtube. I chose this one to link here. This girl wins the Oscar for the longest self-conscious preamble. It wasn't necessary. She does a fantastic job. What she lacks in training she makes up for in enthusiasm. Those eyeglass and braces. Simply adorable. She has a future in the biz and I am rooting for her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0bthE3YRrI
