Extra Details: Many of these special episodes (the ones that have "memorable stories" in the description) are actually compilations/"best ofs" of previously shown episodes. According to my reading of the Bible, this means they should be in the movie section marked as videos, but is that really right? I'm relatively new to tmdb's rules!

It looks like compilation episodes were original released as TV specials so they belong in the Special season.
The kinds of best of that we find in the movie section are (mostly) DVD compilations.
