Discuss Fantasy Island

Most of the fantasies took place in the rather pine tree island. Even when the fantasy was like being Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Few fantasies took place outside it. They had never one where someone appeared in then contemporary downtown Manhatten. In other words due to budget and art direction limitations Mr. Roarke's scripted powers to create a fantasy were highly limited also.

Yes, Manhattan is an island...but not that kind.

This show had moments viewers found scary too like the dreams ep where beautiful Pamela Franklin dreamt a clown doll turned life sized and approached her and the doll burst into flame as its head popped off.

I don't know why, but that just made me laugh! 😄

It did not make many kids laugh when it gave nightmares to many back in the 70s.
