Can I make a possible suggestion? TV mini series are confusing, especially for TV in Europe. Most series are much shorter than US dramas. Shows airing now like Glue are six parters, (or Grantchester). Some are around 10 like Line of Duty or Broadchurch. These are clearly series, but could be considered miniseries because of the number of episodes. I understand that overseas if short series do well, they become regular returning series... here at TMDB if they get picked up for another season we call them series and we then delete the flattened movie entry.
Could we have a miniseries entry that's a merge of a TV entry and a Movie entry (IE, the episodes would be listed separately, or added together if it's being considered a movie).
The problem we have now is since the merge with TV, there are duplicate entries for many miniseries (or short series that were potential series but didn't get picked up). Ideally, the possibility to merge them (the movie entry and TV entry) would be nice to have.
In addition, I think having both separately messes with the individual filmographies... causing multiple credits for the same show.
