That's why Georgia Aquarium mounted a project unprecedented in scale and ambition--a massive expansion with nearly two million gallons of man-made salt water, which features viewing windows, education stations, and even a live performance staged above--and below--the surface of the water, created to educate our guests about the beauty, majesty and agility of these amazing animals. To pull this off, hundreds of men and women worked for nearly three years, battling deadlines, twists and turns that would rival the drama of the show itself.
