How great was this episode? Ofcourse no Cinnamon but Lee Grant did a tremendous job. In a way somewhat similar to the mind of stefan miklos in the sense that the information was already out there and they had to make them believe that the information was false. I like the way they had to give them just that subtle hint that would expose the fact that an American agent was trying to feed them false information so they'd think it was false. Seeing the man get shot at the end was a very satisfying ending. He was evil and enjoyed killing women.

I agree with you. That was a great episode. I thought Lee Grant was terrific. The scene that always makes me squirm is when after Ricardo Lamas is looking through the info in the safe and the team is waiting for him to leave so they can treat her within the window of time to save her is too late.

Yes, I remember The Diplomat, not in great detail, though. I think I remember it more for Lee Grant's appearance, than anything else. It was very similar to the plotting of The Mind of Stefan Miklos. Another winner!

I think that the one of the reasons that Cinnamon wasn't in this episode, and a few others was because what happened in the first season Old Man Out was because it was obvious that Cinnamon and Crystal did not get along. I know that Crystal helped the mission, I just got impression that Cinnamon considered herself the "Alpha" female in the team, and resented Crystal presence. I might also point out that after Old Man Our, you never saw Cinnamon and another female agent in the story. Just a weird thought of mine.

I think one woman was all they needed in this instance. She was the one that had the connections to the top secret info and she was also an attractive woman so she had no problem doing the seducing as well.

Yes, you're right. It makes total sense. I just thought it was strange because in the second and third seasons Cinnamon was absent in only two episodes (I think).

My boy Sid Haig's in this episode playing the henchman of bad guy Alfred Ryder's character.

It would have been cool if Lee Grant had of appeared as a female guest agent of the week in season 4.

I heard that Sid Haig died recently. He made a great bad guy, and he was in so many episodes of Classic Mission Impossible that he because an unofficial supporting character! Rest In Peace, Mr. Haig.
