I love this episode. This is one of the episodes that I always remember. The way they had to make the guy believe he had "recognition" LOL. The part where the guy goes to open the safe and Barney rigged it to just pop open and he turns around and gets shot. That was golden.

@Jayhn1111: Yes, that was a great episode. I thought Donnelly Rhodes did a good bad guy (he's also in a season four episode but I can't remember the name of it). The part that I thought was the best was those weird outfits Rollin and Cinnamon wore in the "future". LOL!!!!!

LOL yeah. It's funny when you look back at even some of the old movies and see what their vision of the future would be. Even Back to the future part 2 which was set around this time period. Everybody thought people would be driving to work in space ships by the year 2000

@Jayhn1111 : The thing I noticed about The Freeze was that unlike the other "make the bad guy think that time has gone by" episodes, in The Freeze they make it look like at least 10 years have gone by and the lengths they go to are more elaborate.

That is very true Maria. I really think season 3 is a masterpiece of a season. Sorry to say I have fallen behind on the mission episodes. I think it's been like 3 weeks since I watched an episode that's why I haven't posted anything lately. How've you been lately?

@Jayhn1111: I'm doing well, thank you. I started my Pre European History Up to 1715 class last week. As for season 3, yes, it probably is the best MI season. I had just moved back to the US when it was being shown. In fact, the first tv show I saw when I came back was MI.
Speaking of the "make the bad guy think time has gone by" episodes, what did you think about the season six episode Invasion? It was a remake of season one's Operation Rogash, but still enjoyable.

Oh wow sounds like you got your work cut out for you. History was always my worst subject. Glad you're doing well though.
Season 3 was just awesome. I was a late bloomer. I wasn't born yet till about season 4 aired but luckily this great series lives on in the minds and hearts of all of us for generations!
I can't speak on the season 6 episode you mention because it's been awhile. But as always I will post my reviews as I watch each individual episodes. My next episode is the glass Cage. If I remember correctly I think that was one of lima's favorites of the season. I never did post a review of the System. That episode is a favorite of mine. I always remember the recording Rollin did of Mr. V's voice. That was pretty funny.

Today in my class we were studying Ancient Rome, and one of the Emperors that was mentioned was Caligula. I don't know if you have ever heard of him, but this guy was one crazy SOB. Among some of the things he did were: he made his horse a member of the Roman Senate, killed all of his brothers and slept with all of his sisters, marched his army to the northern French coast where he "defeated" the sea god Poseidon, and returned to Rome with cases of seashells as tribute from Poseidon. And that was some of the smaller things he did!
Anyway, yes, the system was good. Have you seen the season two 2 part episode The Council? I don't want to give away anything in case you haven't seen it, but it's good.
And one of the reasons that I mentioned Invasion yesterday was because in the pre-title scene, poor Jim is out on a date when he gets called away for the mission. I always felt bad for Jim because this could have been the first date he's been on in a while, and what happens? He's got to go save America again! Sorry for babbling. Have a great rest of your evening!

Wow I didn't know about any of that. I was never very good with history to begin with. But that guy sounds like a piece of work. At least your learning things and bettering yourself. I am not lol.
I did see the Council. With Frank Wayne and Vito and the gang I think that was. I probably did a review on the board about it. That was a tremendous episode.
That's too bad about Jim. It's a tough life but somebody has to be a hero and save us all. Possibly none of us would be alive right now if it weren't for Jim
It'll probably be a couple of years before I get to that but I vaguely remember something about that.

Regarding The Council, my favorite scene was when the team is asking Jimmy (who was played by the guy who played Coach on Cheers) about Frank so Rollin can impersonate Frank better. When they ask Jimmy about Frank's girlfriend and Jimmy says that Frank is always bragging about what a good lover he is. The camera then shows Rollin, who is trying his best to keep a straight face, but gives up and smiles. That scene always makes me laugh!

It was just a great episode from top to bottom and one of my favorite 2 parters. By the way just watched the Glass Cage. Wow that episode was amazing.

@Jayhn1111: I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a complex plan to rescue the man in the glass cage. It took me a Long time to figure out my Cinnamon had the head of the prison to meet with Rollin, but then I realized that they got him out of the prison to gives the others time to use the plan to get Risner out. As you said, a great episode!
