Discuss Mission: Impossible

Another gem of a season 5 episode where Barney ends up getting captured which changes the strategy of the mission. It was interesting seeing them complete a mission while a civilian watches on in disbelief how they step by step complete it while he assists in a critical part of it.

@Jayhn1111 :😈 That creep was played by Christopher Stone.

He did do the right thing in the end though grinning

@Jayhn1111 spy This is true. But the part that cracked me up was when tried to scream and they had to tie him up and gag him! 😉

Yeah and how naive this guy must've been to think he could trust that government.

@Jayhn1111 grin You mean the bad guys government? Well I've always felt that a government that gives Larry Linville (aka Frank Burns') a job as the head of Security is definitely NOT to be trusted!

Yeah aint that the truth grinning

@Jayhn1111 sunglasses Correction- The name of the actor who played the Innocent was Christopher Connelly.

You know me, I'm terrible with names to begin with grinning

@Jayhn1111 : No worries, mate (I've always wanted to write that)! Speaking of Christopher Connelly, I was watching the pilot for the show Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea on YouTube about a week ago and he had a bit part as a sonar operator. It's really weird to see actors and actresses appearing on TV shows and/or movies at the beginning of their careers.

Yeah I guess we've all seen all kinds of famous actors in their humble beginnings. relaxed

@Jayhn1111 : About 15-20 years ago I saw a remake of The Man In The Iron Mark where Hugh Laurie had a line in the first scene of the movie, and of course because I was a big fan of House M.D. fan, I watched the entire movie waiting for his next scene. It turns out that he only had that one line. Boy, was I pissed off!

Another thing that I like about this episode is that Christopher Connelly's character reminds me of Miryam D'Abo's character Kara Milovy, who played the Bond girl in The Living Daylights. Both characters get inadvertally dragged into an intelligence mission although for most of the plot they're not quite sure exactly what the hell is going on. However, they learn to roll with the punches and end up helping the intelligence agencies save the day.

James Bond quiz time! Name all of the different countries used in the James Bond movie The Living Daylights, according to the film's plot.
