Discuss Mission: Impossible

In Part One of the first season episode Old Man Out, guest IMF Agent Crystal, who as we all know was head over heels in love with Dan Briggs, tried to find out from Cinnamon if Dan had a steady girlfriend. All Cinnamon would say was that "Dan was married to his work." So, DID Dan have an off-duty love life? Reactions and Opinions please.

Oh I think yes! I think Crystal was just one of many he "had on the hook." When it played to his advantage, he could manipulate any one of them into a mission, based on the attraction he knew they felt for him. A real player!

Now that I think about it, maybe the real reason Dan didn't participate in the mission in the episode "Elena" (Dan said that he couldn't lead the mission because she knew him) was because he had been romantically involved with her at one time in the past!

The Danimal? Chick magnet

@Jayhn1111 : Truer words were never spoken.

Jim Phelps was a bit of a chick magent as well.

However, Jim never talked a woman from his past into participating in an IMF mission as a guest agent. In fact, the only woman we ever saw Jim with when he was "off duty" was that lady he was on a dinner date with in the sixth season episode Invasion. Legend has it that she's STILL waiting for him at that table in the restaurant they were at.
