IMO maybe the existing subculture of the IMDb LOST board
might not entirely fit well into this environment.
Perhaps some adjustments might be necessary.
The oft-asked question about Charlie became one among a variety of "memes"
that were humorously repeated on the IMDb LOST Board over the years.
Numerous such "memes" became ongoing "inside-jokes" on that board.
Longtime users on that board could recall entire discussions that had
taken place on such topics years ago and during the show's airing.
So, beyond just repeating the original questions from time to time,
the humor was sometimes extended further by transcribing the
original discussions, complete with many of the original replies
remembered from back in the day.
Since that practice was an "inside-joke" that was fully understood only by
frequent and longtime users of the board, of course such "meme" threads
sometimes confused newcomers who didn't know about those inside-jokes.
(That's your IMDb-LOST Board history lesson for today.
Class dismissed.)
(DIsclaimer: I'm not one of the real old-timers of that board,
and I don't claim to be. Only the longtime regulars of that
exclusive club are its true constituency and keepers of the faith.)
Stop it @LucusNon lost is the most if not one of the most innovative shows in the history of tv. No other show outside of OZ had its cast size or multiple storylines of that magnitude going at once. Don't you dare sleep.

Why didn't Charlie just swim out the window? ;-)

What are these adjustments of which you speak?

But hey, in all seriousness... I think it'll be a slow process but I'm of the theory of "if you build it, they will come".

I'm rewatching the show and I thought the same. He didn't have to die.
