Ratings are 5-stars but with half-steps.
So, an 8 on IMDb would be a 4 here,
and a 7 on IMDb would be a 3.5 here.
You can import your IMDb ratings:
Log-in to IMDb. Hover the mouse over your user-name (under the upper right corner) and click "Your Ratings". Then, on the ratings page, click "Export this list", and save the file.
Then come back here to this forum, and click "Your Account" in the left sidebar. (Or, go to this site's home page, and click your user-name at upper right). ... Then, on the profile page, under "Account" in the left sidebar, click "Import List". Make sure "Rated" is chosen as the import type. Then click "SELECT FILES" and specify the ratings file that you had saved. Then click the "Import" button.
A few of your ratings might not import (because some titles are not yet listed on this site), but probably most of your ratings should be able to be imported successfully.
...
[Edit ~~ Thanks to @movie_nazi who previously provided instructions on how to import ratings.]
@LucusNon oh dear god I've been converting them manually... that's why list was one of my first posts because it's a 10 I believe so near the top of my ranking list... wish I knew you could one click convert, I've been doin it for a week.
For the last time, no I did not delete the IMDb LOST Board users' Wiki.
That said, this place here is currently a "revisionist's" paradise. I can post-edit-delete to heart's content, and the deletions just disappear completely, leaving nary a trace. (There's a pending feature request to maybe add the IMDb-style "this message was deleted" notices.)
Horrendously, due to a major (fixable) flaw, deletion of an Original-Post results in immediate total loss of an entire thread! Ouch. Even I will admit, that's too much revisionist powah.
A fix has been requested for that, but we'll have to be patient; the admin is juggling a number of to-do tasks. (He's been more responsive than IMDb was in regard to board bug reports and feature requests).

i know that. i was referring to user score, it shows 77% for this show. so what does that mean exactly? how do i know how many stars it has? 7.7? that would be about 3.5 stars?
77% for this show, so what does that mean exactly?
I don't know, but I do know the Banyan trees provide cover ....
... Sorry. Yeah, the percentages, what up with that?
On February 9th In another thread, the admin (Travis Bell) explicated obscurely:
"The percentage rating is actually pretty new, I think I pushed that live ~3 weeks ago. It's part of a bigger project going on behind the scenes that will be coming out later this year. ..."
So, there you have it.
*"It's part of a bigger project ...."
Hmm-kay ...
BTW, along with ratings we also need to see the number of votes. There are a couple of threads requesting that. Here's one: https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/58a77b55c3a36840200007bb
In that thread, Travis commented obscurely: "I have an idea in my head of how this data will come back nicely, with the current design."
Hmm-kay ...
thanks for reply. that is reasonable request also. i wonder about this other thing so i'll ask you about it. do you get notified only when someone replies directly to your comment or always? when they comment in the same thread that you have?
I think currently it just notifies you of any reply in a thread where you posted or subscribed.
Someone requested what you want, notification of direct replies to you. (I guess maybe that capability might be difficult to implement right now, with the current design of the reply function; I don't know the internals, but I'm guessing maybe a little bit of redesign might be needed first.) ... Anyways, the admin is aware of such feature requests for future consideration. ...

This board is awful, I have given up on it. It has nothing to do with the Imdb board as only one thread can be opened per movie or series. I've heard that something similar to imdb would open soon, would you be interested?
