Well the PPV has come and gone, what are some of your thoughts on the event? I hated the ending, Goldberg has to be capable of putting on an actual match. It's ridiculous that it happened again, they could of made it pretty suspenseful by wrestling and then have Jericho and possibly Lesnar show up to make things interesting. Pretty bad show except for the Neville vs Gallagher match and Zayn vs Joe.

Zayn vs Joe-Really good match that did its job in making Joe look dominant. Zayn fought an uphill battle the entire match and did his usual great selling job. Exactly the match Joe needs right now to keep building him. Surprised they started the show with this match, though I guess it was as good of choice as any.
The Club vs Enzo and Cass-About what you'd expect from these two. Perfectly watchable match, but nothing extraordinary. The Club retains in what is hopefully a decently long run.
Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax-All right. I think they're capable of having a better match than this, but it was important to keep Nia looking strong, especially after Sasha got the surprise win.
Jinder Mahal vs Cesaro and Big Show vs Russev-Should not be a shock to see Jinder Mahal wrestling to a dead crowd. No one cares. and while Big Show vs Russev was better, again, no one cared because it was an obvious filler match, and it became uncomfortable to see them continue this match to an increasingly dead crowd. Finish was pretty unexpected though, with Show killing Russev with about four finishers.
Neville vs Jack Gallagher-Man, finally, the cruiserweight title match steals the show on the main roster. Outstanding and heated contest. Man the scars Gallagher had after the match. Those headbutts are sick looking. and of course Neville was in top form as well. Was not really expecting the red arrow finish given the submission they've been putting over, but I liked it.
New Day come out to promote their ice cream bars. Cause we need even more filler.
Roman Reigns vs Bron Strowman-I'm turning around on Strowman. He's really showing me can go these past few weeks, and this match continues that trend. Many nice spots, including countering the spear into a powerslam through the table, or catching Roman mid drive by and throwing him into the post. Needing two spears, the second after a missed splash, to get the win was a decent way to put Strowman over despite losing his first bout. I don't know if having his first loss in this match was the way to go, but I'm sure they still have big plans for Strowman.
Bailey vs Charolette-This one was decent, though heatless. The crowd didn't care because they expected the usual shit. I had a feeling the PPV streak might end just cause it hit magic number 16, and it did. The finish I'm of two minds about. If it leads to a Sasha heel turn and a match with Bailey at mania, it makes perfect sense. If it's leading to some triple threat or fatal four way, fuck right off.
Kevin Owens vs Goldberg-Wow, and I was pissed at Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar being a 9 minute squash. That was a Bret Hart vs Mr Perfect clinic compared to this. Our Universal champion and the guy to headline Wrestlemania has had two PPV main events that combined are less than two minutes. Disgusting. Really sad that I can say with full honesty that Owens stalling for several minutes was more entertaining than almost any Goldberg match I've ever seen. At the VERY least they gave Owens an out with the Jericho distraction, probably realizing they might need to make their full time main event heel half way credible if he's going to be carrying cards.
Though I'm sure the Raw women are happy-once Lesnar takes the universal belt on vacation (which is just going to do wonders for the less than a year old world title), they're probably going to be headlining a lot more Raw's and PPV's until the Money in the Bank winner cashes in on Lesnar. I'm not holding my breath on Lesnar putting a full timer over cleanly.
Overall: You know, on paper, this had a really rock solid card. Sure, the main event was always going to suck, but the rest of the card could make up for it. Unfortunately, the show's momentum was put to a grinding halt for four men to wrestle Goldberg's title match for him. It's sad because besides I like these guys with the exception of Jinder Mahal, but it was impossible to care about anything that was happening in there. But their efforts weren't enough, as New Day then had to kill momentum again by talking through even more of Goldberg's title match, and stupid, pointless segments with Stephanie on the phone. I don't even get the point of the Joe promo, as I don't recall him having anything to do with Goldberg or Lesnar in the first place. So much of what hurt this show can be tied right to Goldberg. Not helping was a dissapointing women's match.
A very mixed back, cause again, it had 3 really good matches, but all the dead weight dragged the show down. Needless to say, Elimination Chamber blew this away by miles. Night and friggin day. This seems to be a trend: Raw has better cards on paper, but Smackdown keeps putting on far, far better shows.

I thought the show was very meh overall.
*Neville and Gallagher was easily the best match of the night.
*Both Braun and Charlotte's streaks got ended on a minor show.
*Braun getting stopped after 1.5 spears (the first one was like 2 steps) seemed dumb to me. The way he's been booked it should have taken a lot more than that, but Roman's gonna Roman. The match as a whole was good though.
*Bayley Charlotte was good, but I had trouble really getting into it and the end was stupid. Sasha attacking her should have been an auto DQ, Bayley retains Charlotte wins, would have made sense. *I honestly would have preferred a shorter show than wasting time with the Jinder/Rusev stuff. I also fast forwarded through New Day. *Goldberg looks to be in better shape every time he shows up, hopefully they can pull off a ten minute match at WM. KO trolling was great.

I thought the show was OK. They had a fairly strong card. The only problem they had was the main event and they looked like they booked themselves into a corner with that. You can't book Goldberg to lose but at the same time, you can't make either man look weak. It was the perfect cover. Goldberg looks strong and Owens can further his feud with Jericho.
The main issue is what is going to happen with the Universal Championship now that its caught between two part timers. You can't give it to Lesnar unless he does more appearances and you can't leave it on someone else that is also part time. So...rock and hard place. Also, a one month title run for Goldberg? I doubt it.
Also, I don't think Lesnar/Goldberg needs a title at stake in order to drive interest in the match which I think shows the level of trust that they have in Lesnar/Goldberg compared to Owens/Jericho.

I haven’t seen it.
I’m concerned that Goldberg squashed Owens.
I know that’s his forte, however the WrestleMania main event is surely going to last more than thirty seconds and he should be using this time to improve his cardio and shake off his ring rust.
He may be training like a machine, however 40-year-old Rock gassed in minutes at WrestleMania 28, and 50-year-old Goldberg will be facing the notoriously physical Lesnar. It seems a recipe for disaster.
Plus, squashing a smark favourite in Owens is hardly going to do Goldberg any favours when it comes to working a WrestleMania crowd full of smarks, especially when those fans are already heated because Taker has just been sent into retirement by a superman punch!
I was expecting an apathetic reaction to Goldberg/Lesnar III as a dead rubber and arguably the most pointless WrestleMania main event in history, however I’m now expecting a similar response to what they got at WrestleMania 20, if not worse.

My other concern is how many bumps is he going to be able to take. There was already the injury scare leading up to Survivor Series and he looked really shaken up after the F-5 on Monday. Hopefully he was just selling it but his face got all red and he was dumping buckets of sweat.
