Yeah, not so much for myself but to record in case someone else wants to see it later. Same treatment I gave to "Ascension." And for roughly the same reasons.
From what I've seen so far, when they get back to Ark 3 they should probably just move all their people over and abandon Ark 1. Ark 3 was still in much better condition, was more suitable for the so-called FTL modification, etc.
That probably won't happen, and the idea may not even be mentioned, Because Plot/Because Drama, etc. But if it is mentioned, I wonder what excuse will be made for not doing it?
I made it to episode 2 of the first season. It is one of the dumbest shows I have ever seen.
That was my experience with "Star Trek: Discovery."
For sure a lot of scientific/technical garbage in "The Ark," but people have thought shows with a lot more of that, were great, at least at the time they came out. Space: 1999 comes to mind. And the movie "Armageddon." "Gravity" is also supposed to be awful but I've never seen it and probably never will, same with "The Martian," so I can't make my own detailed lists and rely on things like the extensive "Goofs" sections of imdb.

Well, season 2 had a bit of promise/potential but that quickly dissipated. Episode 3 involved an "electric life form" and didn't really go anywhere.
