Is there absolutely any way Octavia could've survived the sword wound and the fall? I was shocked when the fight ended that way and couldn't believe they'd kill her off, so while I'm happy she's still alive (for now), I don't see it being very realistic...

Uhh no, not from the height (stabbed or not). I had major doubts she was dead, and as soon as we saw Bellamy I said to myself; "If they tell Bellamy that his sister is dead, then she's actually alive." And obviously we know what happened next.

Yeah, there's absolutely no way that she could've survived that fall. The water looked crazy shallow (not to mention very rocky.)

Yep and even if the water was deep, hitting it from that high would be about as soft as hitting asphalt.

It's funny. I very anti Octavia from S1 Ep1, and it wasn't until season 3 that she finally warmed up. I used to think her acting was horrid. Now, she's not too bad playing the bad ass chick role. She definitely shouldn't have survived that fall. No way. I was ready to offically accept her death. And that I would trigger her brother some new character development. But alas they would save such a big death for a mid or season finale. So the final scene didn't surprise me. It just served as an excuse to see her brother cry :)

She's related to Aragorn. There's no other explanation.

It was an homage to The Lord Of The Rings.

Yes, it's exactly the same scene as when Aragorn falls in a similar river and everybody thinks he's dead. Then his horse comes, wakes him up etc. This is the same sequence, image per image.

Nothing about The 100 is realistic tbf....
Anyway, I thought she'd still be alive, but after what the writers did with Lexa the previous season you never knew. Probably why they didn't go through with killing her off, which was good.

Lexa was a secondary (if not tertiary) character though, that's not nearly the same as a main character who has been around since the beginning. Especially one of the central main characters. I'm not worried at all about Clarke, Bellamy or Octavia at all. With Japser dead Monty is probably safe too. Kane is safe and Abigail likely is as well, although I do think either of those or Jaha could die if the actor got a role on another series.

I think Raven is safe too and. Echo and Harper have been made series regular for season 5 so I guess the entire arc group is safe. Jaha should die, I'm tired of his character.
