I remember an episode where they're involved with a night-time rescue on the side of a cliff or something, and to assist they bring in a fire dept truck carrying several huge spotlights on the back, which lit up the whole cliff-side. But I haven't been able to figure out which episode it is. Does anyone remember?

I looked at the episode descriptions for all 6 seasons & these are the episodes where a cliff rescue is mentioned.
Season 2 - Episode 8
Season 3 - Episode 6
Season 5 - Episode 2
Season 6 - Episodes 4 & 8

Yeah, I did the same search, and found the same episodes. I checked, it wasn't any of them. I also did searches for "light" and "night..."
I just looked for "mountain" and finally found it. Season 5, episode 18.
I added a reference to the truck to the wikipedia entry, hopefully it will stick.

On IMDb it's listed as episode 20. So did you change the whole Wiki entry? Because when I went through them I didn't see even the cliff reference.
I'm glad that you figured it out.

As mentioned before, I found it in a search for "mountain."
On imdb I think they followed the listing method where the series premiere/pilot is refitted into a 2-part "reminiscence" episode later in the series, but I thought they put that before season 5. But if they did put it in season 5, that would push the later episodes of season 5 down by 2.
I didn't change the whole description, the episode title is "Above And Beyond... Nearly" and I added the bit about the light truck. I don't know why it wouldn't show up for you.
