I agree. Especially when the masks are flying around at the end. HM2 is a close second though. I think that mask was actually scarier.

Love the sequel! I try to watch parts 1 and 2 back to back every October. I like how part 2 takes the transformation to another level, by showing the physical effects of old age on his whole body. It's so creepy.
