So whose brother in law is Casey Jost?

We lose about three minutes of show time to this "insider" who basically does a recap? Whose life did he save or who is he related to?
Sorry this is the first post in one of my favorite shows on TV, but it's just on my mind.

He is one of the writers for the show and, if I'm not mistaken, I think he wrote and recorded the music that was used for Sal's ringtone in his punishment involving his cell phone, as well as all the "demos" that the jokers presented to their students when they posed as music teachers.

He's just a longtime friend of the guys who used nepotism to propel him to a producer position on the show. His brother Colin Jost is on SNL.
