Discuss Better Call Saul

What happens if the actors who are up in age don't live to the end of Bette Call Saul?

Everyone is middle aged and above on the show and we all know its a prequel to Breaking Bad so we can't kill them off if they are in Breaking Bad right? Jonathan Banks is 70 years old right now, it amazes me that he's able to do these fight scenes and high action sequences at this age. What if he doesn't make it to the end of BCS or he can't do the fight scenes anymore?

Giancarlo Esposito is pushing 60! We all know his fate in BB so he needs to make it to the end of BCS right?

Mark Margolis who plays Hector is 78! Look we all know Hector ends up almost veggie like in a wheel chair as seen in Breaking Bad, but he needs to make it to the end of BCS too.

Michael McKean is also 70 and yes he's not in Breaking Bad so its not as vital that he makes it to the end of BCS, but I'm sure they'll drag the sibling rivalry out as long as they can.

Lets say the show runs another 4 seasons you gotta add 4 years to everyone's age! Thoughts?

Yeah......so far they've been able to pull it off. I realistically don't think the show will go past 4 or 5 seasons till it merges to the Breaking Bad timeline. Breaking Bad timeline starts in 2008. It's been noted that after last nights episode they are in 2003. At some point they will have to just move time forward to get to 2008.

Help me with timeline. Where in this episode did it show/say 2003?

We are seeing more & more BB characters. Lydia was a great one with Gus.

I'm still waiting for Tio to get into wheelchair. Hope it's this season??

In BB, these characters were already living in their world for quite sometime before Mr. White entered the picture.

It's possible - if it's currently 2003 in BCS, things can be finalised to BB world that we all know by 2004 or 2005 then just same routine for them until 2008 when Mr. White is diagnosed and starts his science.

We all know what happens - Breaking Bad etc. so more curious about BCS characters that were not in BB and after BB Cinnabon events - if that's it for Jimmy/Saul.

As for aging/dying actors...special effects maybe? Doing it in films now like Star Wars and new Pirates film.

Yeah me too lol. You gotta write and play him like a total A-hole so that we don't feel bad when he does end up inevitably in the wheel chair.

hmmmmm special effects might work but it would just suck if these older guys pass really soon so like we don't even make it a few more seasons with them.
