That was really weird, and I felt totally out of character for Jimmy. I thought he had something typically clever in mind for those bowling balls, but that was it????

He was telling Howard that he had a lot of balls for asking him to come back to HHM.

I don't think so, since he was looking at everything in the thrift store before he even spotted the balls.
