To get that szechuan sauce. I bet that they will just wrap up this gag at the beginning of episode 2.
i put my money on a divorce/jerry centered episode 2.
i don't think the szechuan sauce will be mentioned anymore. i wish macdonalds would do a special re-edition of this anyways - or even better a rick & morty happy meal :D
Have they actually showed time travel? I know he has a box of "time travel stuff" in the garage, but they only travel interdimensionally, right?
Yes, they've definitely time travelled, just not back in time. The first episode of season two involved them freezing time for a prolonged period. Maybe that's a nut Rick hasn't cracked yet. It seemed like that race of Time Guardians weren't aware of the mighty Rick Sanchez. It just seems like something like the portal gun could get them to any point in time as well as any point in space. I hope that the show is smart enough to understand General Relativity the way it seems to grasp Quantum Mechanics.

first of all, disclaimer: i'm not a scientist and my opinions concerning time travel are mostly based on my sci fi reads, so... anyways, i don't think time freezing exactly equals time travel and rick's portal gun only allows him to travel accross alternate universes/realities, and as i see it that's not the same as time travel either. so i don't think that they've "definitely time travelled", as you put it. apart from time freezing in the end of season 1, in which other occasions do you consider that they've time travelled?
Yeah, the only other things I can think of are Slowmobius, and Rick leaving Morty in the pilot to get the cure for broken legs. He mentioned he was gone for a while in the alternate universe.
The alleged time travel (Rick lies a lot) in the pilot probably won't affect the continuity since it is the pilot, it just shows us the concept of the show.
Or simply go to a dimension where Mulan szechuan sauce is the only thing anyone eats or is sentient and wants to be eaten? Then again isn't it better that Rick never finds the sauce? When he does his arc is over and I for one don't want that because I'd be all like "Wubba lubba dub dub" and shit.

Lol yeah! A happy meal for the adults haha that would be awesome
Where's the rest of season 3??? 1st episode felt like a movie, should be longer! I watched it back to back with season 2 finale and yeah, so awesome!
Plus, would as the nugget sauce available only in USA?
I read somewhere (maybe Reddit) that the rest of the season is going to be release in november... And that 1st episode was some sort of April fools prank. I hope its not true though

I guess this answers most questions concerning time travel in Rick & Morty.

Season 3, Episode 2 hasn't come out yet. You're up to date.
I assume the Szechuan sauce was only in the United States.

Its on every Saturday. With multiverses I thought he would find another world where MacDonald's still sell it
