Extra Details: The HBO schedule for April 21, 2024 currently lists The Jinx: Part 2 as the second season of The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.
From the linked website: "The Jinx – Part Two is a six-episode continuation of the groundbreaking, Emmy®-winning docuseries The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst..." [emphasis my own].
I promise I'm not trying to fight the mods lol, but can we apply some common sense here? The title of the series didn't change just because they're promoting a new season (which is titled, "Part Two"). Check the IMDb page, the Wikipedia article, the TVDb page, or even just the URL of the official HBO page (https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst). I propose "The Jinx - Part Two" be added as an alternative title and the original title be reverted back to "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst". What logical sense does it make for a series to be renamed "...Part Two" when a second season is released??
"Once again" no, they did not change the title of the entire show. We gave you several examples. A weird max website issue does not mean they officially changed the name of the show.
Also not trying to provoke anyone but the page you're referring to can be paralleled with the HBO website's page for True Detective, which currently reads "True Detective: Night Country" even though the link is still hbo.com/true-detective. By your reasoning, True Detective should be changed to reflect this on TMDB. Yet it hasn't been. If you're going to nitpick can there at least be some consistency?
The Jinx – Part Two is a six-episode continuation of the groundbreaking, Emmy®-winning docuseries The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst from acclaimed director Andrew Jarecki. In Part Two, the filmmakers continue their investigation, sharing previously hidden material, Robert Durst's prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward until now.
HBO has not changed the title of the show, they have clearly just titled season 2 of the show. They have said on their site the docuseries is called The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.
Worth noting that this particular mod have the tendency in almost any ambiguous situation to choose the most peculiar way, the way they usually leave data in a less accurate and usable way than before. So I second the motion to escalate this to the attention of Travis or other mods. Pity we don't have an official way to do so. Logic and common sense shouldn't be discarded because of a single person's interpretation of the bible and personal preferences.

Bump. The series title should not be 'The Jinx - Part Two' as that is the title of the second season.

If you visit the webpage for Season 1 here, you'll see that the title of the series is still The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.

The show's page (https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst) used to have "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst" as the title of the show until sometime between April 1 and April 11, when the title of the show changed to "The Jinx - Part Two."

Part Two is clearly the title for the second season. Obviously they did not change the name of the original documentary to "Part Two".
As seen here https://www.hbo.com/series/a-z the title of the show is still The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

Also, select any season one episode and you, again, see the title is still "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst " https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst/season-1/1-a-body-in-the-bay

This is certainly a questionable change made by the mods and should go to second level approval with Travis like was done with https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/138502-x-men-97/discuss/660d90e9e039f1017ce7b88a?page=5.
Even the link to the hbo website https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst says

The fact that the show's webpage changed its name doesn't mean that the show itself changed the name.
The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst: Season 1 https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst/season-1
The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst: Season 2 https://www.hbo.com/the-jinx-the-life-and-deaths-of-robert-durst/season-2
