When tapes start coming back from the 1970's onward and the characters start seeing the crime, violence, breakdown of society in the "America Wins" timeline do you think it will change the opinions of some of the characters? There are some downsides to the High Castle world compared to real life 1950's America but the alternative timeline of Nazi America starts getting a lot more appealing after that.

Other than the forced euthanasia of undesirables and a helluva lot of swastikas, I really don't see much of a difference between the Greater Nazi Reich compared to actual 1950s America. Yeah, the people are racist as hell, but they were anyway. It would be interesting to see their take on what 2017 would look like.

The horrors of 2017 is what the Nazis were fighting to prevent. It is ironic that the Communist conquest of Eastern Europe ended up saving them from the ravages of Globalism and that the suffering of the Cold War period ended up positioning Eastern Europe for the bright future it enjoys today. And Hitler would be flabbergasted to find that V. V. Putin's Russia has positioned itself as the defenders of Europe vs the Globalist hordes.

The world would be much worse for me as I would be dead in that world. I have cerebral palsy and I am african american. Two things the nazis hated and exterminated.

Sorry to hear this, and you are probably right. My gf's daughter has mental issues and causes such AWFUL pain to my gf due to her behavior (entitled, crashes the car, constantly in the hospital, so much more I can't list here), I'm wrapping up Season 3 NOW and I often malignantly think how much better it'd be if they euthanized her...she's such a God awful burden and useless to society....yes, HORRIBLE right? Flaming welcome!
And like you, I too would be very much exterminated (I'm a darker skinned latino)
