@audierules Why insult people that enjoyed it? It's all a matter of personal opinion. You didn't like. Some did. Just because you think it's garbage doesn't make it fact. Just like me thinking it's excellent doesn't make it fact. RT might be 15% from critics, but isn't it at like 80%+ when it comes to ratings from the public. So shows there is a lot of support out there. You don't need to insult people saying they are delusional for liking it. Just like I wouldn't insult you for disliking it.

I agree with some of what you said. Some of it. The fight scenes were BAD. It was CW level fights. There wasn't a single fight scene I wanted to go back and watch again. Not one fight made say "Oh shit, that was awesome." We are supposed to believe Danny Rand defeated a Dragon and earned the power of the Iron Fist....while it looked like DD could of kicked his ass.

Harold was cool at first but the more I watched the show the more he felt very B Movie villain. He had a lot of cliche lines.

Danny kept going on about the Meachums are his only family and he wants to help them. Even after they treated him like shit and Joy even tells him they are not family and they don't want him around. And he's still hung up on them being family? The Meachums didn't even like him.

Colleen and Danny had zero chemistry and their relationship happened to fast and felt forced and unbelievable.

The most mystical and magical thing about the show is KunLun and all we get is....snow. No real shot of the show. No glimpse of the interesting land he comes from. You get nothing.

The show is BAD, its just okay. It has a few interesting story moments. It didn't feel like the comics that I loved and I was open to change. I was open to a modern adaptation of the character. But this was poorly made and as a long time fan, I am going to be honest about the flaws in the show. It wasn't perfect, it wasn't terrible, it was mediocre AF.

I thought it was tremendously bad. I'm utterly disappointed. It deserves the criticism. Which is sad, Heroes For Hire is funny and irreverent and I was really hoping to see some of that in this. I had to force myself to keep watching. Gonna have to re-binge on DD and JJ and LC just to make up for it. Hope they can still do justice to the Defenders.

For me the show is very slow, like they are trying to stretch time. Other (good) shows telling the story at a slow pace have this tiny little details so you really have to watch carefully.

I'm around two thirds and I don't know whether I will finish it, getting more and more annoyed :(
