So are we to assume Joy is now interested in killing Danny after she was disgusted her father set him up? She told Davos she was listening when he said Danny had to die...
Makes no sense

I agree. I had no idea what that was all about. I hope she's baiting Davos, cause she has no reason to wanna kill Danny.

My exact same thoughts. Joy now hating Danny makes no sense at all.
Hope they don´t go that route in season 2 or The Defenders.

I think that getting her Dad back after 10 years for Danny to almost immediately kill him might have something to do with it...
(I know it isn't really Danny's fault - but from her grief addled mind this is an understandable point of view)

Assuming she didn't speak to him, Ward or anyone else on that roof afterwards, sure. But it seems contrived, at best.

Yeah it confused me too, but it happened in the comics...so that's my only guess what that was that was all about.

Honestly, I didn't know what to think of Joy. In the beginning she seemed like she would be on Danny's side, then it seemed like she had a more manipulative side, and the end just confused me. Her character was too flip floppy for me to get into.

Huh. That didn't confuse me at all, I pretty much came to the same conclusion Joe79 did: despite her dad acting crazy and yelling at her, he was still back after 10 years and Danny essentially took him away from her. When he thought he was about to die at Bokuto's blade, he basically told her he loved her more than Ward, even calling Ward a disappointment. So with that in mind, makes sense. Ward finished him off, but, he was living up to being a disappointment after all, so in her mind that might let him off the hook and she puts the blame entirely on Danny.
No, what confused me was Madame Gao's presence, nodding in delight that Davos was essentially turning Joy to the dark side. Are Gao and Davos in this together, was it a coincidence and she was eaves dropping unnoticed, what?

The whole scene was strange but I think season 2 will clarify things. I don't think they'll be in Defenders.

i thought it was a bit of a leap as well. judging from the side eye she kept giving her dad, she knew he was not well mentally. her brother made it clear their dad was an evil person, and in the end her dad did let her think he was dead for 10 years. her dad going on to frame danny should have sealed the deal in her mind that it is her father that destroys everything he touches, not danny. but hey, one thing this series was consistent about what changing the characters to fit the plot, rather than the other way round as it should be.
