Discuss Westworld

I'm only through episode 7 of season 2, so I apologize for being behind. In this episode, they revealed the entire purpose of Westworld: to grant humans immortality by copying their brains. Only, that's a bunch of balogna. Copying someone does nothing for them. If you die afterwards, you're still dead, there's just someone else out there who's a lot like you. Does anyone here actually feel like they'd still be "alive" if a fairly accurate copy of themselves was walking around? Sure, there might be a small sense of satisfaction in knowing that the work you had been doing would be continued by someone, or that your family would have someone around to watch out for them. But that doesn't make you any less dead.
