I am, but doesn't appear to be much happening yet. Hopefully It'll pick up.

I'm here! I never post with anything to say, I've always been more of a lurker. But here I am posting because I'm rooting for the success of these boards.
I've started trying to read the first book of the series since I realized when watching Season Two I couldn't quite remember what happened in Season One. Plus I heard the books are terrific. Have any of you read the books?

Folks need to be aware this site has mostly been about information and reviews. The moderators have literally just turned on the discussion boards due to the overwhelming requests by IMDB users. They will be updating and adding more features to these Discussion Boards. The most important thing is to let the IMDB users know about these new changes before the boards over there close on the 20th. Spread the word.

I am here because IMDb made a very poor decision to rid themselves of Message Boards. Time will tell if I like this web site as a replacement.
I think the Expanse is one of the better sci-fi shows in recent memory. The space shots are majestic, and believable. I may need to rewatch Season One, there was so much going on, and I probably missed some bits. I would imagine the books go into much greater detail. But a very well done series on our near future.

Yup, I'm a huge fan of this show. Very very happy Syfy has decided to (so far) run with it.

It's rare to see two stories in one, the detective story and the survivors of the unknown attack story. You really have to keep alert at what's going on. It definitely deserves a second viewing, which I can't say I've felt that way about many programs. I caught it on Amazon Prime and will probably view again just before watching Season 2.

I am. I've already deleted my 13 year old imdb account. The boards were 90% of the reason I used IMDB so without them I'll just use whatever else I can find. This site if it gets more popular might replace it entirely for me, otherwise I'll use reddit more than I already do I guess.

It's being posted throughout the forums on imdb. You're bound to trip over a post pointing you in this direction if you access almost any of the discussion boards atm.

I came here from IMDb, and so far I'm loving it! Over there I was a lurker, but here I find myself editing stuff, and making posts. It'll be interesting to see how many of the trolls make the trip, though... Crossing my fingers that the positive attitude this place has, will endure!

Well.. if i am migrating here on a permanent basis remains to be seen (this board is incredibly spartan), but i am desperately trying to find an alternative to IMDB, which i've been on since 2006. Tried Reddit, but really didn't like..well.. pretty much anything, hehe.. So it looks like i am going to be here for the foreseeable future :)
Edit : And the formatting system on this board is nuts :)
Double Edit : We now have a quote button. Did we always have that (IE, was i just blind), or did that just appear ? :)
