Guess the Showrunners must have known for a minute that this is .
Gillis – Errinwright is right about him. Not only does his decision-making change directions with the wind, he is a shallow, self-serving SOB. Hope Volovodov gets pass her pacifistic tendencies long enough to do what needs to be done for the greater good and him.
Errinwright – Smug and manipulative; carries on as if he is always “the smartest guy in the room”. Well, he was outsmarted by a woman—who wasn’t even in the room. He said he did what he did for earth. A tad too Machiavellian in his thinking for my taste. Why must a “visionary” strategy for saving the world for future generations involve annihilating the generations that’s all ready here?
Coytyar – Sorry to see him go. But, glad that he died with his boots on. Mr. Spock would have been proud at such a the-needs-of-the-many heroic sacrifice. (I like the actor in everything I’ve ever seen him in. I think he needs a better agent—dies too often.)
Strickland – An inhumane weasel to the end. The whole time watching him, the thought “Holocaust doctors” kept breaking into my thoughts. Shooting was too kind--wish he had been jettisoned.
Mao – When he kneeled before Avasarala, all I could think of was the Superman movie and the line “Kneel before Zod!” You know; poor people can do only so much damage (almost always local); but big money can “F-up” the world—and then some. Can’t think of anything Avasarala can do to him that would come anywhere near being punishment enough; but spray painting him with Protomolecule would be a good start.
