Anyone else get the idea that Katoa wasn’t trying to kill Bobbie; but, instead, was trying to communicate with her?

At first I thought that he was after her for her power suit. But I changed my mind after he caught her, and instead of going for the suit, IT LOOKED as if he was trying to stroke her face. In fact, he didn't try to hurt her at all.

Maybe some of what Katoa used to be when he was that happy kid playing around with Mei is still there? Also, just maybe, in spite of what everyone has assumed, evil/domination/annihilation isn’t the ultimate goal of the Protomolocule.

It did seem that way. And what the heck was he looking up at right before the end? If it is true that his intentions were non-violent, he'd have been the first hybrid to be so.

I think it was Strickland (talking to Mao) who said that they were all connected somehow. Maybe Katoa was communicating with His Others and/or some Central Entity out there that they are all linked to.

Maybe he also had something to do with that structure that launched from Venus.
