Yes I'm back from hibernation living without the IMDB Trek boards for several months now .But it's hard to forget a thing you spend several years on and started looking for a substitute and I saw some familiar names on this site and was hoping to hear from my former fellow posters on the IMDB TNG- board (and other Trek boards), to find out how they are doing and if this is the site to go to for former IMDB Trek boards posters? TNG is 30 years old, damn I feel old. I can remember quite clearly where I was when I watched the pilot episode when it premiered.

@revengine: That's not old. Old is remembering that when George Takei was running for a Los Angeles City Council seat in the mid-seventies, the local tv station couldn't show the TOS episodes because it would be in violation of the equal time rule.

I remember watching TV and Nixon stepping on the helicopter for the last time as Pres. of the US,also vaguely remember watching one of the last US Moonwalks on Tv and my father pointing outside at the moon saying those man on TV where walking on that glowing white ball in the sky(that must have screwed up my mind ever since I guess
).

I remember when my pa pointed out the mouth of the cave at a dinosaur going by and said "Watch out fer dem giant lizzerds or theys liable to et you up!" Then he rattled a couple of bone clubs together at the dino and yelled, "GO ON, GIT!"

My mom was from Ireland and when she came over to America in 1960, Ireland had very few TV's. One night she getting ready for bed, my dad (who was in the next room) heard her scream. When he asked her what was wrong, my mom pointed her finger at the TV and said, "The man in that box was watching me take my clothes off!"

Well nowadays it's the opposite it is men in front of boxes watching women in the box take their clothes off.
