That was my exact reaction after three days of news of her/his sex change.

I love that scene with Data laughing. I especially like the bit when it looked like Data was regaining his composure and then he looks over at LaFarge and starts laughing uncontrollably again.

@Dark_Sithlord I also loved how much Data started laughing after he had the emotion chip installed in Star Trek Generations.

Maybe Data laughed because he thought after seeing LaForge with his visor that he was in a Dr. Fink lookalike competition.

@Nexus71 No, it was when he finally 'got' the joke Riker told in the series pilot Encounter At Farpoint.

Ah now you spoiled the whole thing by actually explaining why he was laughing ,and besides data with too much humor is dreadful look how they handled that in GEN it actually became one of the annoying things about this movie the subplot about the emotion chip.
