I haven't really watched TNG in a couple of decades. I enjoyed it when it was on TV, but preferred the old school TOS.

Once in awhile, though, I catch an episode on BBC and discovered have some fond memories after all. I'm thinking about buying the whole series on Blu-ray. Amazon has two options. One is about $140 and has a silver/blue case. The other is about $75 and has a green case.

Some of the reviews seem to indicate that the ones in the green case have a tendency to freeze up in the Blu-ray player. I hate it when that happens. And, since I almost certainly won't be binge watching, I probably won't find the errors until about two three years from now (thus exceeding the window that Amazon allows for return/money back).

Does anyone here happen to have any experience with either of these two sets. If there is not a significant difference, I'll buy the cheaper one. Otherwise, I'll shell out for the pricier one.
