We're not even getting the episode by episode review from Sukhisoo. It looks like they gave up very early in season 2 before any actual good episodes began. Can't blame em though, season one and two (with the exception of a couple gems) really sucked big time.

Funny I was thinking the same thing about there being no more of Sukhisoo's reviews.

Maybe somebody should have given Sukhisoo a list what episodes of season 1&2 to skip and which were worth rewatching although over time I've become to appreciate them a little more and for at least trying not to be a carbon copy of TOS but it doesn't make the episode of season 1&2 to be good (with some exceptions for me Q Who? is still one of the best Borg episodes to me it's The Borg at their scariest)

I agree with Q Who. Also The Measure of a Man from Season 2 I would also put among the best of the TNG episodes.

The Measure of a Man was also one of the early seasons gems and also fond of Conspiracy from season 1 which kinda kept me to stick with TNG during S01 because it took some time as a fan of TOS to get use to TNG back in the day.

I think what kept me going with TNG was the fact that there really wasn't anything else like it on TV at the time - no serious attempt at a weekly adult sci-fi series. Sure, there was Quantum Leap, Red Dwarf, Max Headroom (which only lasted 1 season), Alien Nation (again, 1 season) and of course Dr. Who but IMO none of these really scratched the same itch. Red Dwarf, as great as it was, was more focused on comedy and the rest of them were pretty much situated in the then present time with some sci-fi elements. TNG gave us adventures in the future on board a massive ship with all kinds of aliens. It had a rough start but it eventually found its legs. TBH it was probably a good thing there wasn't anything else like it on TV at that time.

Ah I remember those early Red Dwarf episodes vividly (smeghead lol) it was quite a fun show it reminded me of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. And with Clare Grogan from the band Altered Images and Gregory's Girl.
