Are you still a kid at heart? Did you grow up playing D&D, Magic the gathering, or Pokemon? Do you like The Goonies?

If you answer yes to any of the above, you should check it out.

So is this set back in 70s or 80s?

It felt like the 70s when I was running around on a bicycle causing havoc. That's why I enjoyed it so much, plus the effects are great.

I believe it's the 80s

Set in the 80s. Its very good, I've been recommending it to a lot of people and they all end up loving it. Just watch the first ep, if you don't like it you've only lost an hour. But you'll most likely end up starting episode 2 right away.

Ya, it's worth all the hype.

Was around the same age in the 80's as the kids on the show. The nostalgia just serves me right and made me all warm and fuzzy inside :) . Still, i think its one of the best shows in a long time, and i'm not really a TV show kind of guy. I prefer movies. But this is just one of "those" shows you just gotta watch.

Thanks guys.I will be watching this over the weekend.

Hell yes. If you love the 80s, The Goonies, ET etc then you'll love this. The night it was released I binged watched all 8 episodes.

It's similar to ET. It's very fun and well worth the time. I was actually able to get my parents hooked on the show which was surprising considering the spooky factor that plays a role in the movie.

Probably the best TV show I have ever seen.

The creepy level is way up there, which is a big plus.

I think this is one the most best shows I've seen in awhile. It made me feel like a kid in the '80s again. I highly recommend giving this show a shot.

Except for the SFX/CGI this show looks & feels so 100 per cent early 80s as if teleported to our time. One may criticize that story-wise it's not the most innovative show ever made though.
