Rebecca looked older than William when she adopted baby Randall. Current William looks way older than current Rebecca...not sure what to think...

You have to take into consideration that they've aged him due to his cancer and any treatment he's undergone. He also comes off as being very frail. Again, as a result of his illness.

Thank you; I figured his illness would have aged him, but he seems quite grandfatherly to her matronly. I have to say, everything was cleverly done.

Also the years of drug addiction takes its toll. Google before and after photos of addicts for a shocking reality.

Yes! That too is a huge contributing factor. The meth-heads are freaking astonishing! 😨 That sh*it puts 10 to 20 years on a user, in like less than a month. And if you want to jack up your grills...meth will do it. Meth mouth is f*ucked up.

Meth is the worst drug to hit modern man. Not just blue collar worker either. Well educated white collar workers have destroyed their families and rarely break free of its grip.

It does a job on their skin too because they're constantly picking at themselves with dirty and disgusting fingernails. Very sad.

Very true, but he got clean when he was still young enough. Of course, they did show that he was using needles, so it could have aged him. Or, he started to get sick very young and didn't have the means to address it?

It showed he was clean for 5 years between Rebecca's first meeting with him and her second. We do not know what happen after that, he could have broken the cycle with the thought of never seeing his boy again or another heartache.

I honestly don't believe William used again after giving his child away. Furthermore, I believe he was clean when he made the decision to give him away. I feel that his child was the catalyst for him to do what he did. I don't think lifestyle was his only reason. I truly believe that economics had a lot to do with it as well. He simply couldn't give baby Randall the life he felt he deserved. What he did was the most SELFLESS act he could have done.
On the other hand, Rebecca denying William any contact or knowledge of Randall's life was the most SELFISH act she could have done.

Can someone refresh my memory of what happened to Randall's bio mom? Did she die or just take off leaving William with the baby? I'm thinking it was the latter, but can't remember for sure.

Actually, we don't know yet. I would agree that she is probably alive. But we still don't know what role...if any, that she played in giving baby Randall up. Can't wait to find out though!

For some reason I thought they said she died in childbirth but I guess they couldn't have since he didn't know who his parents were.
