I have to admit I feel a bit cheated. Two episodes ago Kevin abandoned his play and left his co-star stranded on the stage with a full house including his family and critics. The next episode was all about Randall and his dad. In this episode we get back to Kevin and we never see what the fall-out from that was, other than the critic not wanting to come to the re-opening of the play. This seems like it would be career suicide for any actor yet there don't seem to be any repercussions. In fact, he gets offered a movie by Ron Howard! And that last plot points seems borrowed from La La Land.

I agree. There should have been more repercussions for that. I mean Sloane was left standing there like an idiot. No other consequences? Sloppy writing.

I kept thinking Ron Howard was part of a dream. Kevin and Sophia are useless to me--they act as an intermission for me to get up and make a sandwich.
