I don't know were to start. The first hour was just boring semantics about if they should fire on the Klingons. And every time the Klingons were on screen. I was thinking "Whats Wrong with Your Face". Except for maybe Doug Jones's Saru. All the characters are painfully uninteresting. I don't any other Star Trek show i can even say that about. Frankly i wasn't expecting much from the guy who thought that saving Kirk with Superblood was a good idea (aka Alex Kurtzman). The preview for the 3rd Episode looks even less like Star Trek. I guess ill have to wait until Tuesday to get my real Star Trek fix.

Klingon's...omg..what did they do to them. They look nothing like anything we've ever seen on screen, They look like Cro-Mangis from that old sci fi show Sliders. The Orville is the superior show....

The first episode was a mess. Had the look and feel of a Power Rangers episode, with no story at all. It wasn´t funny enough to be parody and not exciting enough to entertain. The second one was better - so I still have hope for it - but compared to old Star Trek TNG it can hold no candle.
