Extra Details: "One for the Road" is currently set to be released as part of an upcoming sixth season according to the Amazon (UK) website. As new seasons need to have at least two episodes, "One for the Road" has been added as a special and an episode group has been created for the order on the Amazon website.

So when Amazon continues with new presenters, and label the new episodes Season 7, will we have TMDB listing the Seasons as 1 to 5 and then jump to 7 ? Then you as mods will be fielding yet more questions about the missing Season 6. Well good luck to you !
PS I don't know if you remember but when the Grand Tour started, episodes were limited to 1 hour and released weekly. Specials like the Beach Buggy Special were split into 2 parts (S01E07 and S01E08) but assigned normal episode numbers. So if they had continued with that format then we would have a Season 6 now.

Of course not. They have backed themselves into a corner and are too afraid to ask us to forgive them for their ignorance. I can't stand people like that.

Ah ha, stumbled on this thread, having naively just reported s00e01 as incorrect - I was trying to find out why my Kodi library wasn't picking up the episode that the whole streaming community (and amazon) think is s06e01 - can't believe it's not going to be amended

I'm assuming many of us running media streaming software have had to manually intervene to correct themoviedb's mistake. This doesn't reflect well on how tmdb is treating disputes such as these. I know they're in the right the majority of the time, but this is certainly a black eye exception.
