I really enjoyed the episode. I still don't care for Archie and I don't know what Val sees in him. I'm indifferent to Betty/Juggy. I like their scenes together, but I have no opinion of them as a couple as of now.

I feel like the writers are making it harder and harder to connect with Archie given everything he keeps doing. That said, I think this was a nice episode and not just because Cheryl wasn't in it (not that she is horrendous)

I agree! Archie is my least favorite of the main teen cast.

Feel free to watch another show who's lead you can stand, you've got a plethora of other shows at your fingertips.

The show's called Riverdale, not Archie. Also, I don't need to like the lead to enjoy a show, lol.

Loved, loved, LOVED the episode. Best one so far. They managed to make Josie likeable, which I didn't think was possible. And I didn't think I would ever ship Betty and Jughead, but after that kiss, I feel like it just makes sense. I know that in the comics, Jughead is asexual and all, but the show has already deviated a lot from the source material, so why couldn't he be in love with a girl instead of with hamburgers? Plus, Betty and Jughead just click, I love their scenes together, and I want Betty to be with someone who loves her instead of her just pining for Archie who only likes her as a friend.

I agree! I might have to download the original songs from iTunes.

After the second episode, I thought this show might be an enjoyable change of pace. But after the most recent episode it seems to be slipping faster and faster into the same old tired soap opera bs.
