that Alonso, Alex, Gina, and Eilish all seem to think they are the good guys/heroes, when in actuality they are pretty shitty people who are petty, vindictive, and childish. Cody and Makena are the only two of the six who are playing the game correctly (ie trying to make it the 40 days spending as little as possible)
