Discuss Young Sheldon

Anyone else still slight_smile at this opening sequence?

Even after all these seasons, I still grin every time I see the family do this one-step-to-the-left routine. With its “cowboy culture”, the thought that folks from Texas would be "apprehensive" around a cow boggles! Maybe the fact that it IS so unexpected, and that it lampoons our perceived notion about the citizens of “The Great State Of Texas” is what makes it so enduringly chuckle-worthy.

Hats-off (or should I say: “Stetsons-off”?) to the person(s) who came up with this gem.

I thought that they were going to do the Reverse Cupid Shuffle. wink

I think the joke is that Sheldon is made uncomfortable by the cow. Maybe the rest of the family just steps away in solidarity with him.

In no way was I surprised by Sheldon’s reaction to “The Cow”. It’s well-known that (accept for fish and cats) he has had issues with some of Mother Nature’s other creatures—birds especially. Once he was even “mugged” by a dog.
