I'm assuming so since it's October and there's NOTHING promoting it. Is it because of the attack MacFarlene made on Fox? What is it they say? Don't bite the hand which feeds you. A shame. This was a good show and I was enjoying it. Better than anything Star Trek related which Paramount has TRIED making which is SUPPOSED to be Star Trek in the last decade. Sorry, but the "new" Star Trek they're trying to pass off which doesn't even TRY to follow the original timeline just SUCKS. That is just NOT Trek. I even tried watching the ONE episode they aired on CBS. I had no idea the lizards are SUPPOSED to be Klingons. HORRIBLE!!!
This was at least something I could get behind.

It was actually picked up for a second season, rather early on. And apparently whatever MacFarlane did, wasn't as bad as Roseanne, so it's still listed as returning. But not until December, which was pretty dumb of them.
By the way, have you been following Babylon 5 on the Comet channel?

I haven't heard what he did, but Seth MacFarlane isn't just an actor on The Orville, he's also the show creator/producer/head writer... Which is why I made the Roseanne comparison.

Sigh.
Lefties.
You have no 1st amendment right to say whatever you like at/for/about your employer without getting fired. "Freedom of association" is a right too, and your employer also has it, not just you. The 1st amendment basically only applies to the GOVERNMENT and not putting you in jail for what you say. (But what you DO is also a different matter even there, which is why people don't have a 1st amendment right to overrun barricades, damage buildings, assault and otherwise threaten senators and court nominees and their families, etc.)

Don't you know anything?
Battery is actual harm. Assault can be just threatening.

There's a reason why there are two words: assault, and battery.
And the constitutional right is to PEACEFULLY assemble for redress of grievance. A mob is something else.

You can look at those videos and say "those mobs didn't really assault anyone" and then on the other side you're certain without any evidence or corroboration that Brett Kavanaugh is guilty of rape or attempted rape. (Which, even if it were true, would not have resulted n any drastic penalty because they were both minors at the time.)
I'd ask "what color is the sky in your world?" but I don't really care.
However, if there is justice in the world, you'll be falsely accused of something without evidence and immediately carted off to jail, VOLUNTARILY because those are YOUR standards, and we won't have to deal with you any more.

Oh wow, OK, um, I'm really sorry. It was not my intent to start a political war here. I made my question/comment because of what happened to Roseanne. I was guessing/assuming the same had happened to The Orville/MacFarlene for the same reason. He attacked the Fox Channel/Network, and so that was why I asked if The Orville had been cancelled. I don't agree with what Roseanne said, but cancelling her show was wrong, and if that had happened to The Orville too, again that is wrong. Sanction the actor/actress, fine, but don't punish the fans for something the actor/actress said.
Anyway, if indeed The Orville has been picked up and will return at the end of December, then awesome. I hope that my DVR records it as I won't be able to watch when it airs. But if it has been cancelled, that is a shame.
As to B5 on some channel called Comet? I've never heard of the channel. Is it available on DirecTV? If not, then I have no way of viewing it.
Anyway, thank you for answering my question.

Unfortunately you seem to have missed my meaning regarding my comment about "...the attack MacFarlene made on Fox..." I was not implying that he was on the Fox channel making a comment. I was stating that he attacked Fox. My phrasing was correct. Just thought I'd point that out. Thanks.

Oh, I get it. You don't realize that I'm Sheridan saying that I don't need EITHER of you.

Comet is mostly a local broadcast channel, in the US. It's carried locally by some cable systems, but I don't think nationally by DirecTV or Dish. If you can't find a local affiliate at comettv.com you can watch their lineup streaming on their site. But apparently only the eastern time zone version. So the 9pm Eastern time for B5 might be 6pm for you if you're in the pacific time zone.
They're mostly through season 1 now.
Anyway, Roseanne didn't attack ABC.

I never said Roseanne did attack ABC. My point is that ABC reacted in a way they shouldn't and let their political views determine what was to happen with a show because of something the actor said. If every network did that to every actor who said something, there wouldn't be anything on T.V. at all. The networks need to stop having knee-jerk reactions on things because of their personal views. If they no longer like a particular show they're sponsoring, fine, that's one thing, but to dump the actor or actress because of something they said to someone else, that needs to stop. Was Roseanne wrong to say what she said? Yeah, but she should never have been fired and have her show cancelled by ABC because of it.
Anyway, please try to stop misreading what I write/make assumptions about things I HAVEN'T written.

My point was that, if anything, Fox would have MORE reason to cancel MacFarlane's show if he had attacked THEM, rather than just saying something they didn't like for political reasons.
