I agree. I think, at heart, Robbie is a protector. Growing up without a father, he probably took on the duties of the "man of the house" and the role of watching out for his Mom. Sure, he's made some really poor choices, but he never had a father figure/role model or a mentor to guide him...until Daniel.
Yeah, we will have to see how they handle that. To be honest, I am not entirely convinced on the writing of that turn. Daniel can be impulsive, but why on earth would he not tell the police to wait for him to bring Robbie in?

HahA! Not looking good for ol' Robbie.
There's still an opportunity for him to find redemption. I seriously doubt the writers are going to hang him out to dry as Kreese's number 1 student.
