I really don't understand why they went to dirt for the last race. Just to say it's never been done? If so, a dumb reason. I would have loved to see all these cars run 7 wide on pavement or an air strip (ala MotorTrend Shootout). I think it was a goofy way to wrap up the series, even if the ending was quite predictable.
