Probably because that was when it aired on tv. But i agree. Netflix released it first. In Japan, weekly starting march 29.

Why should it not have all the episodes???? We don't cater to "fake" seasons or story arcs from novels/manga. That's what the episode groups are for. There are no splits or seasons in the original Japanese airing.
Even CR has them all in one season.
All the other seasons just need to be removed/data moved for all languages, but honestly that's a better job for Travis to do automatically.

Oh, I just spotted the episode 366 one LOL didn't even seee season 16. Though, that's just for episode groups, as it's all about the original airing (I just wondered where the fake seasons came from, because I thought I didn't spot it on CR hahhaha! :)) I'll create one for Digital Release [CR]

that's a whole different thing, that entry needs to be merged with Naruto. They end Naruto 2002 with episode 220 or something and then the "new" Naruto stars at episode 221. That's not a new show by our book, but instead a continuation.
I think everyone just considers it a "new show" because it's adapted from a part 2 of the manga thingy and there's a timejump.

Yes, exactly, those need to be merged. But, since it's like 500 episodes, that's a hell of a job to do manually. Travis (the Admin), will do that on the back-end. Just takes some time.
There won't be any seasons. Eveyrthing will be in one season. Artifical seasons can be created with the episode group, like I did with Bleach already.
Right now priority is getting all episodes in order (across all translations), then, Travis can move them in a wink. (When he has the time)
