Item: Murderous Affairs Type of Problem: Incorrect_content Extra Details: missing seasons/episodes
Thanks for your report!
I added as much information I could find. A few notes:
1.) The show first aired on a small American channel called Escape in 1 season with 52 episodes. I couldn't find an official order of the episodes, but I took all dates etc. from this page:
Both IMDb and TVDb provide different air dates and decided differently about the seasons. It's hard to find any common ground on this show - unless someone finds the original air dates. I give up searching.
2.) Netflix distributes this show in 3 seasons (18/17/17 episodes), with a few minor changes to titles and descriptions and 1 episode in a different order:
3.) It seems that this show is almost uncovered by the press - with a possible reason. I found an article about the announcement of this series from Mai 2016 here:
Everything looked fine - until the production company, Bellum Entertainment, got in legal trouble during the shoot. You can read more articles about it here:
There's one comment under this article that states:
"You can’t believe anything that comes out of Peter or Mary’s mouth. I DP’d Murderous Affairs for a few months in New Orleans, and in that time I saw literally dozens of checks bounce from co-workers, people leave New Orleans because they couldn’t pay rent from Bellum not paying, lies about when checks are shipped, etc. I’ve received personal emails from Peter promising he hand put checks in the mail, which were blatant lies as I’m still owed thousands. The worst part is I’m one of literally hundreds of people they’ve done this too."
Conclusion: I don't want to spend more time on editing and researching this entry for TMDb. Maybe another moderator wants to take over?
I'm not sure these dates are accurate -> there might be mistakes in it:
I don't think they (all) are. I can't confirm the complete original air dates and order because the website was only sparsely archived, but the official schedule do not match the current air dates.
