I am halfway through this and they really overdo the busy office thing - no office I ever worked in was that busy !! It is heavily female driven - executive producers, writers, producers and directors are all women - and the men seem to be there to act as inferior foils to the females. The story isn't strong - absentee father returns after deserting mother for 24 year old nanny. All ethnicities are represented - I am surprised that there were no gay sub plots shoe horned in. As in all female driven series menstruation had to be mentioned - albeit in a brief and jocular manner by a child. The stand up comedy was completely unfunny and went on for too long for us and not long enough for a comedy spot - but that was a mercy. The wedding scene dragged on interminably and very unconvincingly. That wonderful old chestnut makes an appearance "he left you - he didn't leave us" !! What nonsense - mothers and children are one unit - leave one you leave them all. It all seems very shallow and contrived and sad to say I find most female productions tend to be the same.

Just like how all male driven productions (like the tv of the 60s onward) tend to be the same

Yes - fashions change - but you can't replace male driven plots with female driven plots else nothing progresses. I am waiting for a perfectly equal and non pc production - but I am not holding my breath.

Really? After eons of male driven plots in tv, movies, literature in general, as soon as we see the female point of view emerge you cry foul? Suddenly you see the value in "a perfectly equal and non pc production"? In the interest of progress. Wow! Luckily there is enough of each for everyone to choose what they prefer...but honestly it is precisely this kind of 'thinking' or perhaps 'lack of thinking' that causes many of the problems we have today.
