I think this show suffers from a bad name, makes it sound like a downer. But its a pretty solid entry in the "multicultural sitcom" genre - the others like black-ish and fresh off the boat are getting kind of stale. It doesn't hurt that Sarayu Blue seems to have gotten better looking in the years since she was on Sons of Tucson and she shows a lot more skin than most female sitcom stars - and why not, it works for her.

All that said, its got a vibe that I don't think connects with where the viewing public is, so I expect it gets cancelled.

Please don't do a Holi episode, seems like american desi shows always do one of those. Its waaay played out.
