Extra Details: Duplicate of original American Idol series on Fox. Original series should be updated to include these seasons instead of having a separate listing.

To add to this - I've seen the previous replies. That doesn't help that even directv says this is continuous seasons but they use 601 as the first supposing of season 21...
I don't think some services can handle the sorting of it... it's causing a fragmented experience

We always list the series the way the broadcaster list them originally.
ABC has restarted the numbering from 1, so we should list this as a new series.
